Well, we’re here to help you find the best information on dog obedience training so that you can build a better and more rewarding relationship with your dog.
How much does it cost to be a member of DogObedienceClub.com?
At present there are no fees to use this site. We may refer you to external sources of information such as dog training courses, where charges are involved, but all our information is provided free of charge. For more information see our Disclosure statement.
What kind of dog obedience training do you cover?
You can learn about dog training in many different ways such as:
- One on one training with a qualified dog obedience trainer.
- Group training sessions with other dog owners and their dogs.
- Reading free information found on websites like dogobedienceclub.com.
- Reading books, either old fashioned paper books or online ebooks.
- Listening to audio dog obedience training in your car, on your mp3 player or at home.
- Watching training videos that show you what to do to train your dog.
Each of these training methods have their plus and negative points. There are for instance different costs involved with getting one on one training compared with taking part in an online video course.
Different people also feel better learning in different ways. I will try to highlight the best methods available – it will then be up to you to decide which methods suits you best. A combination of methods often works best but we are all different, as are our dogs.
Do you feature secret ‘ninja’ tricks that will solve my dog training problems overnight?
Well to be honest no. There are lots of easy to follow tips and techniques that can quickly improve your relationship with your dog. But a long term improvement is much more valuable in my opinion.
Does it matter what kind of dog I own?
You may well have come across websites and books aimed at particular breeds. There can be some differences or particular problems with certain breeds of dogs but I think that in general dogs of different breeds are more similar than they are different. The information I provide should therefore apply to all dogs, including yours.
